INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO
Hawkstead Interiors is a Singapore based studio, dedicated to creating naturally bespoke interiors that capture the very essence of culture, tradition, expression and style. With a passion for plants, nature and enhancing the way people live and interact with their surroundings, I bring a unique perspective, very much curated with native and organic form and texture in mind.
Inspired by African and Asian influences, my design process aims to describe a look and philosophy that reflects a fusion of ethnology and elegance. I focus on introducing interior landscaping elements and using naturally enduring local materials to create culturally distinguished interiors that not only have a timeless aesthetic but will ultimately improve with time.

Services
Destination Design
A comprehensive e-design package, focused on creating a plan which resonates with your vision, while concentrating on the integrity of the location and surroundings of your home or villa. This package is the perfect option for conceptualising unique, yet affordable luxury designs. It includes a 90 minute consultation, basic vernacular research, concept design, mood boards, product sourcing (depending on location), one minor revision and 3 hours follow up support emails/calls.
Interior Styling Consultation
A 120 minute consultation- online or face to face in
which you will receive design ideas and solutions to elevate your current setup. We will explore what you would like to achieve and how to affordably implement a new lease of life in your space on your own time. You may use this session at once or break it into two 60 minute slots.
Landscape Design
Interior Landscaping- A 45 minute onsite consultation to assess your interior conditions followed by an appropriate plant concept design, plant list, maintenance plan and an option to use our services for installation. A discount on your consultation will then be applied.
Exterior Landscaping - A 90 minute onsite analysis and consultation which involves a thorough assessment of the site's existing conditions, such as topography, soil quality, sun exposure, and existing vegetation, followed by a step by step plan, plant list and access to exclusive trade discounts on landscaping materials and plants.

We are for the most part intrinsically drawn to buildings and landscapes have been deeply rooted in place, reflecting a symbiotic relationship with their environment. By incorporating endemic plants, local materials and designing in response to climate conditions, we not only positively impact the environment but our own physical well being too.

Hello
I'm Kerry, a Singapore based interior designer and landscape designer with a passion for, plants, textiles, art and design.
Born and raised in the lush and beautiful landscapes of Zimbabwe, I developed a real love for, and connection with botanicals from the earliest age. Later, going on to study Landscape Design in Johannesburg, South-Africa, and pursuing a career in the industry where I ran my own landscaping business for several years. During this time, I bought my first home and renovated it before selling it. This would be the first of a handful of projects where I not only used my landscaping skills to transform the gardens but also developed my love for natural, functional and somewhat eclectic interiors. I worked closely with local artisans and contractors and my ideas and designs began to take shape inside the homes.
Later, I pursued an opportunity to work and travel around Europe for a few years, followed by South-East Asia where I continued to grow my interest and nurture my curiosity in the genius loci of each country that I explored.
My experience to date has laid the foundation for my design process which is deeply rooted in a passion for the use of plants, artwork, sculptures and locally sourced, organic materials to enhance the true essence of a space.
